Georgetown Pride was born out of a deep-seated need in our community, a need for safe, affirming spaces where LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies could come together and celebrate one another. Over the years, we’ve seen the positive impact of creating these spaces, fostering an environment where everyone is free to be their authentic selves.

In 2023, Georgetown Pride marked our very first public event with our Coming Out Block Party! An unforgettable event that brought together people from all walks of life to celebrate diversity, acceptance, and love.

As we look to the future, Georgetown Pride is more committed than ever to continuing this legacy, starting with our 2024 Georgetown Pride Festival on October 13th! We envision a future where our town thrives on love and understanding, where every individual feels seen, heard, and valued. We’re excited to keep building on this momentum with more events, outreach, and initiatives that uplift and unite our local LGBTQ+ community.
